Warwick Mall partners with Award-Winning Cartoonist, Artist, Author and Public Safety Specialist, Jim Weicherding, from Burrillville, Rhode Island. Jim is displaying his popular BUCKLEUPALLOFUS Balloon Attraction inside the Warwick Mall this Holiday Season to help remind kids and families about the importance of using Car Seats, Booster Seats and Seat Belts when traveling in the family vehicle. With winter weather, comes winter road conditions, and this well known and recognized Child Passenger Safety Mascot, BUCKLEUPALLOFUS, is a very creative and effective way to send these positive traffic safety messages out to families everywhere. These community grassroots outreach efforts heighten awareness with the media groups while Jim’s cartoon characters are positioned to increase his educational efforts by distributing BUCKLEUPALLOFUS Coloring Posters to all of the kids that are attracted to his giant sized Buckle Up! Safety Balloon exhibits. This ten foot tall Buckle Up! Child Passenger Safety Balloon Attraction has been appearing at numerous venues and community events over the past two months reminding kids and families about traffic safety. These venues and events include Community Car Seat Check Ups, Grade Schools , DayCares, Shopping Plazas, Denny’s Restaurant, A&W Drive- Up Diners, Art Museum, Auto Dealerships, Libraries, Car & Truck Shows and Classic Car Cruise Nights across New England. Thousands of Jim’s custom created coloring posters, coloring books, stickers and coloring puzzles have been handed out to kids and families even before the BUCKLEUPALLOFUS Balloon arrived. Jim has been distributing custom created coloring posters and coloring books to kids at Car & Truck Shows and Classic Car Cruise Nights for nearly twenty years featuring his cartoon characters. Jim is also the creative mind behind the popular Seasons of Safety Coloring Program adopted by Hasbro Children’s Hospital eight years ago this coming January. Jim creates monthly coloring safety calendars featuring his cartoon characters reminding kids about seasonal, holiday and nationally recognized safety campaigns ranging from Traffic Safety, Fire Safety, Water & Boating Safety, Wheeled Sports Safety, Sun Smart Safety, Halloween Safety and “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully” Safety, just to name a few topics reaching kids all year long. Jim is also creating monthly Seasons of Safety Coloring Cartoon Safety Placemats for Denny’s Restaurants and Coloring Cartoons for 4-Safety dot org, sponsored by Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Dunkin’ Donuts. A&W Drive-Up Diner located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, just signed a spring, summer and fall BUCKLEUPALLOFUS Kids & Family Night agreement for Jim to attend with his balloon and distribute traffic safety coloring posters to all of the kids every Wednesday Night starting in April and ending in October of next year. Current development projects include creating and producing Animated DVD’s, toys, games and puzzles for kids everywhere. Giant Inflatable Helium Balloons featuring BUCKLEUPALLOFUS, Fearless Dino Protector Squad, Itty Bitty SUPER DUPERS and more of Jim’s cartoon characters will be appearing in major market city parades from coast-to-coast starting in 2017 at heights of forty feet tall that will be viewed by more than one hundred million kids and family members across the USA. Jim has recently signed a national parade and event agreement with New York based Big Ideas and Arizona based Parade Giants to produce these massive parade balloons resembling Jim’s cartoon characters and appear at large scale parades and events with millions of viewers live and at home watching these venues on their televisions. Jim was recently awarded a Community Hero Award Glass Plaque by the Burrillville Police Department and presented with another Community Service Award Plaque by the Rhode Island Attorney General Office. They follow Jim’s Awards presented to him by the US Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a Safe Kids Worldwide Star Achievement Award and a Citizen Service Medal for his years of creative and dedicated efforts to help protect kids and families from injuries and potentially help save lives here in New England and Nationwide. Warwick Mall recognizes the potential of trying to prevent injuries and save lives, especially regarding children of all ages, by exhibiting Jim’s BUCKLEUPALLOFUS Giant Balloon Attraction during their peak holiday shopping hours during the month of December. Every mall across America has a Santa Claus exhibit but the Warwick Mall is the first and only mall that features a giant, big blue dinosaur with a red seatbelt for a tail to help remind kids and families to Buckle Up! and learn traffic safety information with Coloring Posters for Kids and Traffic Safety Materials for Teens and Adults.
