Jim Weicherding launches “Safe Kitchen, Safe You” Kids Coloring Campaign across New England. Jim’s new Home Fire Safety Coloring Campaign for Kids and Families is now available in Grocery Stores across New England in a creative effort to help keep kids and families fire safe in their own homes. This concept came to Jim one day when he was talking on his cell phone with one of his Corporate America Sponsors in his local grocery store parking lot. As he was talking, he observed kids and adults entering and exiting the grocery store from all directions. He thought it would be great if he could reach out to all of these kids and families on a daily basis in an effort to help keep them safer at home, in their vehicles and in grade schools without doing so on multiple outreach community effort levels in regards to each individual safety reminder and streamline his creative efforts to one single location in every town, community and city. Create a focal point where he can creatively convey his safety reminders along with his cartoon characters for child safety. He realized that he was looking directly at that focal point: Grocery Stores. Everyone goes grocery shopping. Everyone drives and rides in vehicles to come and go to grocery stores. It is the most visited retail location in any community every week of the year all yearlong. Jim immediately drove home and started creating his new “Safe Kitchen, Safe You” Kids Home Safety Coloring Pages and started reaching out to grocery store managers that wanted to meet with him and discuss how they could assist him to achieve his goal of reaching 1,000’s of kids and families about their safety on a daily basis in their communities. Once they met with Jim and reviewed his creative community outreach kids safety coloring pages they adopted his Coloring Safety Campaign inside their grocery stores. 1,000’s of Jim’s Cartoon Character Coloring Cartoons are now available at check out counters in grocery stores reminding kids about everything from Home Fire Safety, Buckle Up! Safety, Anti-Bullying Safety, School Bus & School Safety, Helmets & Pads Safety, Wheeled Sports Safety, Holiday & Seasonal Safety and more throughout the entire year on a daily basis. Grocery Store Managers and Employees love participating with Jim’s Creative Coloring Safety Campaign for Kids. There will be Coloring Contests in these communities with grade school students, special weekend events and other creative activities taking place during the year to help keep safety in the minds of kids and families on a regular basis and not just during Nationally Recognized Kids Safety Focus Weeks that come and go once a year.
